What Age is DANCERpage intended for?
  • DANCERPage is great for dancers and dance family and friends age 13+.
  • DANCERPage requires parental consent for any one under the age of 13. If you are a child under the age of 13 do not attempt to sign up for a DANCERpage account. If we learn that an account has been created by a child under the age of 13 or that we have collected any information for a child that is under the age of 13 we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
  • Here’s why you can feel good about encouraging younger dancers to actively engage with their DANCERPage account.
    • DANCERPage: Encourages dancers to present themselves in a positive, professional way
    • Builds confidence as dancers see their profile page grow, and inspires them to continue adding to their experiences
    • Can be kept completely private and used solely for archival or educational purposes
    • Does not allow comments. There is no way to request access to someone’s DANCERPage

How do I subscribe to DANCERPage?
How much does a DANCERpage account cost?
  • We’ve created a Free account that allows you to try out the site and create your first DANCERPage. To benefit from all of the functionality, services and sharing options that DANCERPage offers, create a Basic account for $6.99/month or $79.99 / year.

Your Account

What is a basic account?
  • The BASIC ACCOUNT lets you create your own mini-website including a DANCERPage template, Resume Builder, Dance Library, and both public and private sharing options.
What is a guest account?
  • A GUEST ACCOUNT is a free account that you create when a dancer invites you to view their DANCERPage. This account does not expire. With a guest account you are only able to view your friends’ DANCERPages. If you want to create your own DANCERpage you will have to sign up for the 14-day Free Trial or upgrade to a BASIC ACCOUNT.
How do I cancel my DANCERPage account?
  • You can cancel your DANCERPage account at any time. Go to the settings page and click “Edit subscription. “At the bottom of the page you will see the “Cancel subscription” link.
What do I do if I forget my password?
  • No worries! Go to the Login page and click on “Forgot Your Password?” Enter your email and we will send you a link to reset it!

Functionality

How do I upload photos and videos?
  • Option 1: start on your DANCERPage, click any plus sign and upload photos and add YouTube or Vimeo links directly to your DANCERPage. Photos and Videos that you upload onto your DANCERPage will automatically be added to your Dance Library
  • Option 2: Upload photos and add YouTube or Vimeo links directly to your Dance Library and then feature them on your DANCERPage
My images are up! What happens next?
  • Create an About Me / Bio
  • Add personal notes to every photo and video
  • Take advantage of our Resume Builder.
  • Organize your photos and videos in your DANCE LIBRARY
  • Showcase specific accomplishments by adding HIGHLIGHTS to your DANCERPage
  • Share your DANCERPage through your secure email invites to friends and family or create your Public Link
How do I save my changes?
  • As you add information to DANCERPage, your changes will be automatically saved to our site. Feel free to enter your content, close the window, and come back later - your DANCERPage won’t lose a thing!
How do I know what people will see when they visit my page?
  • Log into your account
  • In the Upper left corner, click the drop down from EDIT MODE to GUEST VIEW. Guest View shows you what your guests will see!

Privacy & Sharing

Is my DANCERPage Public or Private?
  • All DANCERPages are private to protect your work and to create a safe environment for you to create a robust profile. Your DANCERPage remains completely private until you share it. You can share with close friends and family via email invite, and/or you can create a customized public link to share your DANCERPAGE with professional contacts, auditions or applications and on your social media.
How do I share my DANCERPage?
  • There are two great ways to share DANCERPage: through a private email invitation or Personal Public Link.
How do I share ONLY with close friends and family?
  • Log in to your DANCERPage account
  • Click “Invite” on the Dashboard
  • Enter the email address of someone you wish to invite
  • Click “Invite” and you’re all set!
  • Scroll to the bottom to see that status of your invitations
How do I control who can view my DANCERPage?
  • To maintain control over who sees your DANCERpage use the “INVITE” link from the drop down menu. Here you can send guests an email inviting them to view your DANCERPage and Dance Library! You can always see who can view your account as well as remove someone’s access by going to the “My Friends” page of your account.
When I invite someone through an Email Invite, what part of my account does that person see?
  • Friends who are invited via e-mail view your DANCERPage as well as your complete Dance Library.
When someone accesses my DANCERPage through my public link, what part of my account does that person see
  • A Public link gives viewers access to your DANCERPage (Profile Page) only. They do NOT see your Dance Library.
How do I share with professional contacts, colleges, and on social media?
  • To share with professional contacts, colleges or on social media, create a custom Public Link. To do this:
    • Click the drop down menu on the top right corner of the screen
    • Click “Public Link”
    • From there, you will be able to create a custom URL which you can copy and paste into college applications, social media sites, in a text to friends and more.
How do I deactivate my Public Link?
  • You can deactivate your Public Link at any time. Click “Public Link” in the dropdown menu at top right of the screen and simply select “Deactivate”
I like having a Public Link, but I feel like too many people have the URL - what do I do?
  • You can change your Public Link URL at any time. Head to “Public Link” in the dropdown menu at the top right of the screen. Choose from any suggested URL or create your own! Once you create a new URL, your old Public Link will automatically deactivate.
Can you comment on someone’s DANCERpage or can you request access to someone’s DANCERPage
  • In order to maintain a safe, positive and supportive online environment, DANCEPage does not allow for commenting or access requests.
